Good Food / Big Day

We arrived in GG on Friday, very tough day at airport. They changed our gate 5 times which would not be bad if we could have understood ANYTHING they were saying. But hey, whose complaining!! We made it. Got to eat at an American style restraunt last night! WOW, good cheeseburger, AnnaGrace had a big bowl of noodles, and did not like hamburger but she does like french fries. Audrey bought her a little Chinese dress, very pretty. Today we visit another temple, LOL! But then tonight we are going to visit a China missionary family we have met through some dear friends of ours. I am so excited to meet them. We have heard so many great things about them. The family that we are grouped with in GG are from Lancaster SC, great folks and sound just like us.LOL
This is there 4th China adoption!!

pics from Beijing

Pics from 1st day, Very, Very hot!!! Not the same as North Carolina Hot. Me, Audrey and Dad made a short trip up the wall but not far. There must have been at least 100,000 thousand people at Forb. City. It was insane!! We did get AnnaGrace on Monday and everything went as we expected, she cried at first and now is very sad, but she did eat very well tonight. But she is in big time mourning. She will be fine in a day or two we pray. She does love to be outside, she cries to go outside and gets mad when you bring her indoors. We do have many, many pics and will send them in just a few, we had a slight problem. Please pray for AnnaGrace, that God will ease her saddness. She is fast asleep, we have never seen a baby go to sleep like she did. Will send pics soon, We love all!!

Thanks to all!

As we are on the eve of going to get our little girl I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who have helped us in this process, all of you who have prayed for us, and all who have done and said so many nice things to us. You all know who you are. But most of all, I want to thank God, that he has chosen us to be the parents of this little precious girl. What a undeserving gift we have recieved. I just wanted to post a few words and give Him ALL the honor and praise. He has been so merciful to me and my family, most of all because he has ADOPTED us into his family. I had a good friend who has adopted twice tell me the other day that through the adoption process God allows you a small glimps at what its like to be Him. He gives you a love for sombody and you bring them into your family as one of you, no matter what color, what age, physical problems, mental problems, behavior problems, ect. Adoption!! what an amazing picture of God's love!! Many of you out there are called to adopt, pray, seek God, and jump in the deep water, you will be blessed beyond measure. And if you already thinking about it and want more info a great book out there by Russel moore title " Adopted for Life" Thanks again for everything! And again to our awesome God!!
We love all of you,
Mark T.
